Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, on board the cruise ship “MSC Opera”, docked at the Santa Apolónia Terminal, Lisbon, the Opening Ceremony of the 2013 Magic Glow Worm Campaign, organized by the National Federation of Social Solidarity Cooperative Societies – FENACERI.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva receive, in the Palace of Belém, the participants in the 2012 Diplomatic Bazaar, during which the donations based on the Bazaar’s revenues were attributed to social solidarity institutions.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva and Mrs. Hayrünnisa Gül visited the Educational Centre for the Handicapped Citizen, in Mira Sintra.

Included in the programme of the State Visit being carried out in Portugal by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Abdullah Gül, Mrs. Cavaco Silva invited Mrs. Hayrünnisa Gül to view the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva took part in the procession of Our Lady of Good Health, one of Lisbon’s religious traditions, and which made its way through several of the city’s streets.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in the Chapel, in Martim Moniz Square, in Lisbon, the investiture ceremony of Our Lady of Good Health.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the official opening of the Art and Antiques Fair organized by the Portuguese Antique Dealers Association, which is taking place in Cordoaria Nacional, in Lisbon.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the ceremony where the “1 Euro Movement” made the month of February donation to the Institute of The Immaculate for Persons with Special Needs.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the official opening of an exhibition of works by Joana Vasconcelos, on show in Ajuda National Palace, in Lisbon.

In a soirée held with the motto “The word can become a world”, authors, actors and vocalists strode through the stage installed in the Palace of Belém, celebrating the World Poetry Day, in a programme organized by Mrs. Cavaco Silva.
